Bodies break
We know this

and such

But bodies break 
like Bread
Best when shared
Breath of the body 
Song or Word or Song
Moves souls

Hand shakes alone
Vibrating the 
Caught-breath 
Stuck-in-the-throat
Rhythm of Lonely 

But with Another, 
Hands shake together 
Clasp in Holy Palmer’s Kiss
Skin-touch-skin 
Of another other

So Break Bread, Poet.  

Break bodies Open, 
Souls, breath
Breathe, open. 
Like Communion
Song or Word or Song
Best when shared

Breaking bodies 
Nourishing bodies
Like they’re meant 
To Be nourished.
